Review – Coby TFDVD7751 Dual DVD Player
The Coby TFDVD7751 Tablet portable DVD Player with dual screens is a good DVD player with some features that make it very child friendly. Though it has a few issues that can make it more difficult to use. It is very affordable, very light weight and works fine for playing video or even video games while in the car, which can make roadtrips less stressful for the parents.
Complete Car Kit Included
The Coby TFDVD7751 has two screens which can have different things on them at the same time or the same thing to make viewing easier. There are parental controls and the remote can be locked so that the children don’t accidentally hit the wrong buttons. There are plug-ins for headphones so that the user can listen to his/her music/show/game without disturbing everyone else. The system has anti-skip technology and comes with the complete car kit so that it’s easy to set up and will fit in any style of car. The whole thing only weighs about six pounds which makes it extremely portable.
A Few Complaints
Like many portable DVD players however, this one does have many complaints about being very disposable and even having difficulty with some DVDs. The other problem with it, and this is one that should be considered, is that many people have claimed that it has to be taken apart simply to put a new DVD in which makes it a pain to use on long trips where you may want several DVDs. There have also been reports of power cords being loose, especially between the two screens, so that one wrong movement renders one screen blank.
Cheap Amusement For Your Kids
At $129.98 through Amazon, this portable DVD player is very affordable, but it is also a bit disposable, so do not be surprised if yours has some quirks. However, if you’re looking for something to bring with you on trips to amuse your children and you don’t want to spend a lot of money, then this is a good unit to look into.
